Why efficiency is the input that matters

The brochure math says a 61" deck at 7 mph cuts three acres an hour. Real lawns have gates, trees, beds, dogs' toys, and turns — which is why the honest number is 60–80% of theoretical, and why a big commercial Z on a small treed lot can be barely faster than a 42" residential machine. Estimate with the efficiency your properties actually allow, and remember the fixed 10–20 minutes of trim-edge-blow that doesn't shrink no matter what you drive.

Turn the time into a price

The free pricing calculator turns visit time into a per-cut and monthly price with crew cost, equipment, and margin. The $29 workbook adds a crew-cost calculator, a full-day route planner, and a customer price book.
